Reviews:
M.M. Roethig: This emotionally charged book is a great end to a FABULOUS series!!!
Unbearable is the highly anticipated, at least for me, story of one of my man crushes, Booker Gatto. I fell in love with him when I first met him in Unbelievable and couldn't wait to hear his story. It did not disappoint!
Booker has sworn off relationships for good and has punished himself to a life alone, until he meets Tess, a shy, insecure woman who breaks through Booker's wall of defense without even trying.
Tess, running from a past of emotional and physical damage, falls head first for the amazing Booker, (which, let's face it, who wouldn't), as she fights her inner demons to finally have the normal life she has always dreamed of.
This final installment was so emotionally charged, I felt exhilarated and drained at the same time. The subject matter was so intense and so well written, I felt as if I was living through their pain, struggles, joy, and romance. Sherry has a way of taking the written word and bringing it to life around you as you experience the love, desperation, fear, joy, and relief with each word. It literally leaves you breathless until the very end!
This is a fabulous series that I recommend to all who are looking for a clean romance that will keep you turning pages until the very last word and leave you wanting more! Unbearable is the perfect end to a perfect series, and while I hate knowing this is the last in the Port Fare series, I love that I was able to experience the ride!

Sherry Gammon is brilliant, I mean it, she has taken such amazing characters and forever left their amazing stories embedded in my heart an soul. I haven't read such an amazing series that was full of love, thrill, excitement and sadness all in one. This is a series filled with love, fight and pure strength, it was lighter in the romance category for me but I enjoyed every minute of it. The build up in each book was exciting and intense, you weren't 100% sure of which way she would go. Each story can be read as a stand alone but you get something from each book that you need to read them all. I fell in love with Seth, Cole and Booker in Unlovable (Book #1). Each leading lady is special and amazing like the men, she knows her characters and they SHINE!!!
Booker's (Unbearable Book #3) story blew the roof off for me. I feel in love with him in book one, his story and journey just makes you ache , hurt and fall in love with him. This man has seen, felt and went through so much heart ache and sadness. When Tess walks into his life, he isn't real sure of her and he notices that she is disguised. She too has secrets she is hiding and hiding from evil that has plagued her life. These two were so meant to meet. Their journey was amazing to watch unfold and scary at times too. This book scared the crap out of me. It was so intense that I had to walk away and go calm down. I wanted to yell at a certain EVIL ONE, and do some very BAD things to him too!!! Sherry knows how to right a bad guy that is for sure.
I hope you give this series a try, it is DEFINITELY worth the time. I was introduced to this book by chance while I was browsing on Amazon a year or so ago. I was amazed by the story and writing. Sherry you did an amazing job and I couldn't be more happy with how everything came together for all of these characters. I'm a little sad that the journey is over, but beaming I was apart of the ride. My heart will forever remember this series! Sherry pulls on all your heart strings so be prepared to be thrown off course a few times with some tissue handy!!!

HeavenisabookstoreI have read first book by Sherry Gammon called Unlovable, but for some reason I do not remember reading the second book in the series, Unbelievable. So, I will be adding that to my reading list after finishing this review. :)
I highly recommend reading this book as it touches on a few subjects generally kept in the dark - domestic violence, rape, cheating and how to cope with them. Gammon brings these subjects up so well, in all her books, that you do not even realize she is describing a whole new world until it comes crashing down on the reader and we are forced to ride it out because it is impossible to put the book down. Gammon weaves these tales so intricately that it feels like the reader is living the book.
Gammon creates, introduces and develops characters like Tess that are completely wrecked and trying to survive. Women that I root for at the same time I want to protect. She writes strong, yet vulnerable heroes like Booker who do such a wonderful job of being realistic. Honestly though, my favorite characters ended up being Booker's family because they played such a large role in the story. As family is usually in the middle of your relationship.
Even though she covers unhappy topics, the plot is still light enough to be read on vacation or during a work break.
Sherry Gammon also follows up with Maggie, the young woman who was raising her alcoholic mother in the first book in the series, whom I absolutely love.
